Acrylic on canvas board, 35.6cm x 25.4cm. I don’t normally paint still life pictures but this was for a painting challenge set by our art group on the theme of ‘Somerset’. A landscape was a bit obvious, so this was an option which meant I could explore different textures in a style I wouldn’t normally choose.
