Great Tits don't seem bothered at the prospect of being a meal, but maybe they just don't taste nice... Painting measures 27cm x 18cm; with temporary frame, 36cm x 25cm. Poppy Study in watercolour and ink. My second attempt at drawing a dog! This is my friend's Jack Russell, Poppy, who is adorable and hopefully I've captured some of her character. I'd paint my cats but they're usually asleep or eating a range of wildlife in the back garden.
