Odd Birds Acrylic on canvas board, mounted and framed in black.  Measures 56.5cm x 66.5cm framed.  (Apologies for the quality of the images - I couldn't get a better picture without everything reflecting on the glass.  Actual painting is obviously brighter and sharper than this.)               Having discovered the joy of acrylics, I wanted to paint something fun and colourful.  This is meant to have a 'flat', cartoonish look and shows a community of birds not necessarily living in harm...

So much fun painting this!  Lovely colours, different textures... nothing at all to do with having to eat the whole tin (in the name of art) and also managed not to drool on the painting while I was doing it, which always helps.        £200

Fondant Fancies

Fondant Fancies Acrylic on canvas board; currently being framed but finished article will measure approx 66cm x 55cm.  The hardest thing about this painting was not eating all three packets of these delightful little things before taking the photo but I made short work of them afterwards and frankly, it was a sacrifice I was willing to make.                 £200
